Mr. England joined TI in 1973 and spent 27 years in integrated circuit design and product engineering, manufacturing supervision, integrated circuit process development and operations management. He also served as Senior Vice President and manager of TI's worldwide semiconductor memory business. Most recently, Mr. England served TI as Senior Vice President responsible for the Digital Light Processing^TM ("DLP^TM") business unit. Under Mr. England's guidance, DLP^TM was a successful internal startup based on MEMS micro-mirror technology and is currently one of the leading technologies used to manufacture business and consumer projection systems. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. England was President and CEO of Cumbre Inc., a Dallas-based biopharmaceutical company focused on discovery and development of new antibiotics that overcome bacterial resistance. Currently Mr. England is a management and engineering consultant to companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to individual entrepreneurs.
